Inspiredu. Changing lives through technology and education.
Over the last few years, we’ve been bringing families together for fun days of learning and providing the essential tech tools and support needed for a strong home learning environment.
Through a collaborative community approach, we’ve expanded our digital literacy program to reach both adults and youth, and we’ve enhanced our support for the STEM career pipeline year-round.
Inspiredu inspires our communities' digital champions as we strive to amplify digital inclusions and promote educational equity for all learners around metro Atlanta and throughout the state of Georgia.
The Gaps We Fill
The pandemic has exacerbated existing digital divides related to age, disability, gender, geography and socioeconomic status. With many essential services pushed online, there is a real and present danger that those without broadband Internet access could be left ever further behind.
The (e)Mazing Race is our annual fundraiser with a unique twist: corporate and community teams compete in a series of thrilling challenges, all while raising funds to support digital skills programs in our community.
We had a blast celebrating our second annual Christmas in July! The festivities took place at HOLIDAY, the open-air specialty coffee + craft cocktail bar located at The Interlock in West Midtown, Atlanta, and it was a wonderful time for all.
When it comes to reaching our goals – and consistently meeting the needs of those we serve – we wouldn’t go far without our 404 Digital Navigators. Provided through Comcast, these interns help connect the community to resources such our digital literacy workshops and Comcast Internet Essentials. They also serve as ambassadors for Inspiredu by providing research, outreach, planning, and implementation of special projects to promote digital equity.
Inspiredu is excited to announce Grant Shih, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at
Vestis, and Renee Pearson, GVP & Chief Technology Officer at Rollins, Inc., as Co-Chairs for this years Inspire Gala. Grant and Renee are long standing board members and supporters of Inspiredu.
At Inspiredu, our mission to promote digital equity extends beyond our home base in Atlanta. We’re committed to empowering residents across Georgia with essential skills to help bridge the gap, foster economic growth, and create opportunities for all. That’s why we’re excited about our coastal connections, specifically Savannah.
As we expand and foster digital equity in our community through strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Comcast and the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE), we recognize the immense potential and support available for entrepreneurs. Our second town hall of the year, held at Comcast’s Central Division and Big South Region headquarters at The Battery in Atlanta, was a significant step in empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Are you ready to step out in style while helping to build digital equity in Georgia? Join us for Inspiredu’s annual Inspire Gala on Thursday, September 12, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Our largest fundraiser of the year, the Inspire Gala is a celebration of the year’s accomplishments and much more. Here’s a sneak peek into this year’s exciting event:
How To Build Digital Equity Through Corporate Partnerships
Inspiredu is committed to building digital equity for undeserved communities across Georgia. All families and individuals need reliable devices, high-speed internet, and digital skills for education and healthcare resources. At Inspiredu, we work tirelessly to provide access to technology, digital literacy training, and support services to underserved communities.
We were thrilled to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April 2024 as a nominee for Good Neighbor of the Year, and we are so grateful for the additional exposure that Inspiredu’s mission has received after the show aired. It was truly an incredible experience!
Together, we can close the Digital Divide.
Thanks to a recent initiative, local libraries are a new, central location for a series of our digital learning workshops in 2024. The effort is part of "Connect the Dots for Digital Equity," led by Fulton County Commissioner Dana Barrett.
