Over the last few years, we’ve been bringing families together for fun days of learning and providing the essential tech tools and support needed for a strong home learning environment.
Through a collaborative community approach, we’ve expanded our digital literacy program to reach both adults and youth, and we’ve enhanced our support for the STEM career pipeline year-round.
Inspiredu inspires our communities' digital champions as we strive to amplify digital inclusions and promote educational equity for all learners around metro Atlanta and throughout the state of Georgia.
The Gaps We Fill
The pandemic has exacerbated existing digital divides related to age, disability, gender, geography and socioeconomic status. With many essential services pushed online, there is a real and present danger that those without broadband Internet access could be left ever further behind.
Together, we can close the Digital Divide.
This month, we hosted our inaugural Digital Picnic, providing an additional way for our families to connect with us. The event took place virtually on March 27 at 5:00 p.m. It served as an excellent platform for the Inspiredu staff to engage with some families and learners we've worked with in the past.
