(e)Mazing Race FAQ’s

What is (e)Mazing Race? 

The (e)mazing Race is an adventure-style, team-building game, and back-to-school fundraiser. Each team will drive through the city completing challenges and delivering essential tech tools and school items for metro Atlanta students in high-need communities. 

When is (e)Mazing Race? 

Saturday, August 28th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine.  

How many participants are in a team? 

In this race, seven local companies will form a sponsored team of up to 4 members.  

What are the COVID guidelines for the event? 

All participants are asked to wear a mask and gloves at each challenge site. Sites and supplies will be sanitized in-between team arrivals.  

Where will the checkpoints be?  

The starting/finish line is located at Inspiredu: 1550 Southland Cir NW #200, Atlanta, Ga 30318. Six checkpoints will be located throughout the city of Atlanta and uncovering their exact location is part of the challenge.  

How many challenges will there be?  

There will be 6 Challenges. 

What are the prizes for winning? 

1st Place Team takes home a 10.5” (e)mazing Race 2021 Trophy. Participants will each take home a medal and a goody bag. 

Is there an age range for participants? 

We are asking that participants be 18 and over.  

What is proper attire for these challenges? 

Attire is casual, sneakers for comfort and safety while participating.

How long is the event? 

The (e)mazing Race event itself will last 5 hours. Networking event to follow.
