Building Digital Confidence Together: Microsoft Supports Inspiredu’s Family Learning Workshop
We are grateful to Microsoft for supporting Inspiredu's latest Family Learning Workshop, held at Bear Creek Middle School in Fairburn, Georgia.
Thanks to Microsoft’s support of Inspiredu's digital skills workshop, families were able to build digital skills that will enhance learning at home and increase confidence in navigating today’s technology-driven world. Parents and caregivers learned alongside their children, asking questions, practicing new skills, and leaving with not only new knowledge but also refurbished laptops to continue learning well beyond the workshop. When families build their digital confidence together, the impact extends far beyond just one morning.
As Trina Clark James, Atlanta Community Engagement Lead at Microsoft TechSpark, shared:
“It was truly inspiring to witness multiple generations—from little ones to elders—learning side-by-side in community this morning at Bear Creek Middle School, all gaining the skills and confidence to thrive in a digital world with a laptop they got to take home and call their own. As part of Microsoft’s commitment to expanding digital opportunity, I’m honored to partner with Inspiredu and support families in the Bear Creek Middle School community as they build the digital skills and access they deserve.”
Thank you, Microsoft, for investing in families, expanding digital opportunity, and helping ensure every household has the digital tools and skills to thrive.
