Every other month, adult learners seeking to improve their children’s academic success or add digital literacy to their career skills are invited to attend and, by doing so, earn a refurbished laptop for their household. Throughout the course, participants gain valuable computer and software skills and learn how to use technology in everyday life.

Service included laptop imaging, cleaning, inventory, warehouse beautification, and bookbag packing. The dedication and energy brought to the warehouse by these volunteers were truly remarkable, and we’re excited to keep the vibe going into 2023.

Read MoreIn November, we worked with the Dekalb County Office of Youth Services and partnered with Innovative Solutions for Disadvantaged and Disability on Project Grandd. An organization that helps grandparents care for grandchildren with developmental disabilities, chronic health conditions, and learning and behavior disorders. We served 12 families who participated at the South Dekalb senior center on Candler Rd in Decatur, GA, during that time.
